Suchen Technology GmbH aims to make suchen.expert easier to use for as many people as possible. We are working to improve the usability and clarity of our digital services.
1. Legal framework
Suchen Technology GmbH is a private company, not a public sector body. The specific rules for public sector websites therefore do not provide the direct legal basis for this information.
Our company currently meets the definition of a microenterprise under § 2 no. 17 of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG). Microenterprises offering or providing services benefit from the exemption under § 3(3) BFSG. This exemption concerns services; it is not a general exemption for products.
We nevertheless voluntarily work towards making our platform as accessible as possible.
2. Usability and ongoing development
Internal functional checks have included, in particular, testing keyboard navigation. Such checks support the website’s ongoing development. They are not equivalent to a comprehensive assessment of all BITV 2.0 requirements.
As we develop the website, we focus on understandable content and an interface that is easy to use. Feedback from our users helps us identify opportunities for improvement.
3. Areas with possible limitations
Depending on the content, device and software used, limitations may arise, particularly concerning:
- alternative text for individual images and icons,
- user-generated content, such as photos and listing descriptions,
- colours and contrasts of individual interface elements,
- keyboard operation of individual interactive features,
- PDF documents.
