Lottery and gambling fraud:

Unfortunately, fraud related to lotteries and games is widespread. It is therefore of great importance to be vigilant and not to be fooled by the tricks of the scammers. If you unexpectedly receive a message about winning a lottery or game, be sceptical and do not immediately believe promises of big wins. Genuine lotteries and games do not charge advance fees or fees to receive a win. A common scam is for the sender to ask you for a small sum to ‘activate’ your ‘win’ or to pay out the prize.

Remember: if you haven't entered a lottery or game, you can't win anything. Be careful and check all the information before you act. Don't send money to strangers and be suspicious of dubious offers.

If you receive a suspicious message about winning a prize, we recommend that you do not respond to it and do not disclose any personal or financial information. If possible, mark the message as spam and delete it.

Fraudsters use a variety of methods to deceive you and swindle money out of you. Stay alert, protect your finances and don't let fraudsters dupe you so easily. If you suspect that you have become a victim of fraud, inform the police or other relevant authorities immediately to prevent further criminal activity.
