Your rights in relation to cookies

As a user of suchen.expert, you have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in relation to the processing of your personal data. This also applies where personal data is processed via cookies or similar technologies.

Right to withdraw your consent

Where the processing of personal data is based on your consent, you may withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future.

This applies in particular to optional cookies and similar technologies, such as those used for statistics, analysis, marketing, advertising or the integration of external services.
Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of your consent prior to withdrawal.

Right of access, Art. 15 GDPR

You have the right to request information as to whether, and if so, which personal data relating to you is being processed.
This includes, in particular, information on the purposes of processing, the categories of personal data, the recipients or categories of recipients, and the intended storage period.

Right to rectification, Art. 16 GDPR

You have the right to request the rectification of inaccurate personal data.
Where personal data is incomplete, you may also request that it be completed.

Right to erasure, Art. 17 GDPR

You may request the erasure of your personal data subject to the statutory conditions.
A right to erasure may apply, in particular, if the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, if you have withdrawn your consent, or if the data have been processed unlawfully.

Right to restriction of processing, Art. 18 GDPR

Subject to the statutory conditions, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
This may be the case, for example, if the accuracy of the data is disputed or if the processing is unlawful but you request a restriction of processing instead of erasure.

Right to data portability, Art. 20 GDPR

Provided the legal requirements are met, you have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
This right applies in particular where the processing is based on your consent or on a contract and is carried out by automated means.

Right to object, Article 21 of the GDPR

You have the right to object to the processing of personal data where the processing is based on legitimate interests.
This may be particularly relevant in the case of certain processing operations that are not technically essential. In the event of a valid objection, we will no longer process the personal data in question, unless there are compelling legitimate grounds for the processing or the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes data protection regulations.
The data protection supervisory authority responsible for us is:

The State Data Protection Commissioner for Lower Saxony
Prinzenstraße 5
30159 Hanover
Telephone: 0511 120-4500
Email: poststelle@lfd.niedersachsen.de

You may also contact the data protection supervisory authority in your place of residence, your usual place of residence or the place where the alleged infringement occurred.

Further details on the processing of personal data, the legal bases, the retention period and your rights can be found in our privacy policy.
