The block user function on suchen.expert allows you to prevent a specific user from contacting you through the platform's messaging system. This is a useful tool if you are receiving unwanted or inappropriate messages.
What does blocking a user do?
When you block a user, they will no longer be able to send you messages through suchen.expert. Existing conversations with the blocked user will remain in your inbox but no new messages can be received from them. The blocked user is not notified that they have been blocked.
How to block a user
Open the conversation with the user you wish to block. Look for the options or settings menu within the conversation — usually accessible via a button at the top of the chat. Select the "Block user" option and confirm your choice. The user will be blocked immediately.
Can I unblock a user later?
Yes. If you change your mind, you can unblock a user at any time. Please refer to the article on unblocking a user for instructions on how to do this.
Should I also report the user?
If a user has sent inappropriate, abusive, or suspicious messages, we recommend not only blocking them but also reporting the behaviour to our support team. This helps us take appropriate action to protect other users on the platform.
