Log in and open advert management
Log in using the account with which the advert was created. Then open ‘My Adverts’ and go to the ‘Rejected’ tab.
If the advert does not appear there, also check the ‘Pending’, ‘Active’, ‘Deactivated’ and ‘Archived’ sections. An advert that is not publicly visible is not automatically rejected.

Select the correct advert
Open the rejected advert and use the title, image and advert ID to check that it is the correct advert. This is particularly important if there are several similar adverts.
If necessary, make a note of:
- the advert ID,
- the current status,
- the reason for rejection displayed,
- the date of the last submission or edit,
- the relevant sections of text or images.
Do not immediately create a second advert with almost identical content. It is often possible to correct the existing entry specifically and resubmit it.

Read the reason for rejection in full
Check all the notes displayed with the advert or in the status view. The necessary correction depends on the specific reason given.
Possible causes may include:
- incomplete or contradictory information,
- an inappropriate type, an incorrect category or situation,
- an incorrect location,
- an email address, telephone number or postal address in the title or description,
- a misleading price or undisclosed mandatory costs,
- images with insufficient relevance to the advert,
- personal or confidential data in the text or images,
- infringements of copyright, trade mark rights or personal rights,
- prohibited or restricted items or services,
- discriminatory, offensive or unlawful content,
- an unclear description of the actual offer,
- prohibited or misleading external links,
- a duplicate or virtually identical advert.
These examples are not exhaustive. The reason shown for the particular advert applies.

Use the edit function
For a rejected advert, select ‘Edit’ if this function is available. Make targeted changes to the sections that were objected to and then check the entire advert for any further inconsistencies.
Do not simply remove individual words if the problematic content remains in another form. A meaningful correction must address the actual reason for rejection.
Do not change the purpose of the advert to circumvent a rejection. For example, a rejected sales offer should not be turned into a completely different service simply by replacing the text.

Correct the title and description
The title must clearly reflect the actual content. Use a specific description and remove misleading advertising claims, irrelevant search terms and excessive capitalisation.
Check the following in the description:
- What exactly is being offered, sought, lost or found?
- Are the condition, scope and availability correct?
- Are any known defects fully disclosed?
- Do the price and any additional costs match the offer?
- Are the date and other time-sensitive details up to date?
- Do the images and text match?
- Are any necessary conditions or restrictions missing?
- Does the text contain unsubstantiated claims or guarantees?
The revision should be clear, factual and truthful. A longer description is not automatically better if it makes the actual content less clear.

Remove contact details from the title and description
According to the General Terms of Use, email addresses, telephone numbers and postal addresses must not appear in either the title or the description of an advert.
Remove such details even if they:
- have been split using spaces or special characters,
- are written out in full rather than as numbers,
- are contained within an image or QR code,
- are accompanied by a request to make contact outside the platform.
Please use the messaging, profile and contact functions provided by suchen.expert.
Permitted social-media profiles and links do not have to be removed merely because they lead to an external site. However, they must be relevant to the advert, must not be misleading and must not be used to circumvent the platform rules. Further guidance can be found in Am I allowed to include links to my social media profiles in my advert and share my advert on social media?

Check images and files
Check each image to ensure it relates to the actual advert and is permitted for publication.
Remove or replace images that:
- show a different item or service,
- infringe third-party copyright, trade mark or personal rights,
- show private addresses or dispatch labels,
- contain full serial, IMEI, ID, account or card numbers,
- reveal QR codes, barcodes or access codes,
- identify uninvolved persons without their consent,
- give a false impression of the condition, scope or venue.
If an image is used solely as an example, it must not misrepresent the actual content. In the case of a second-hand, one-off item, the images should show its true condition.

Check fixed core details
The advert type, category, situation and location cannot be changed after the advert has been submitted for review.
You should therefore check whether the rejection is due to an incorrect selection in one of these fields. An incorrect basic selection cannot be corrected by adding a note in the description.
If any of these fields are incorrect, you may need to create a new advert with the correct details under ‘Place an advert’.
Before doing so, check:
- whether the rejected advert is still needed,
- whether it should be deleted using the function provided,
- whether another similar advert already exists,
- whether any additional services booked might be affected,
- whether the new selection accurately describes the actual purpose.
Do not create parallel duplicates and do not artificially alter text or images to conceal an incorrect basic selection.

Check the price and terms of the offer
If the rejection is related to the price, check both the price field provided for this purpose and the description.
In particular, ensure that:
- the price quoted is complete,
- the price field and description do not contradict each other,
- any unavoidable additional costs are clearly stated,
- the price is not used merely to make the advert appear cheaper in search results,
- where there are multiple items, it is clear whether the price applies to a single item or the entire set,
- in the case of a free offer, no subsequent mandatory costs are concealed.
If an obvious input error has been made, correct it in full and also check every passage in which the price is mentioned.

Clarify legal or content-related requirements
Some rejections cannot be resolved by changing the wording alone. An offer remains prohibited if its actual content breaches the law or platform rules.
In particular, check:
- whether you are legally permitted to offer the item,
- whether a service requires a licence or qualification,
- whether the necessary supporting documents are actually available,
- whether you are authorised to use the images, texts and trade marks,
- whether personal data of third parties may be published,
- whether a job advert contains discriminatory requirements,
- whether pricing, consumer-protection or trade obligations are met.
Do not conceal prohibited content behind a more general category or an unclear description. Even subsequent approval would not constitute binding legal confirmation of the offer.

Check your corrections before resubmitting
After editing, read through the entire advert again. Do not check only the section that was originally objected to.
Before resubmitting, ensure that:
- the title, description and images all relate to the same content.
- the price, condition, scope and availability are up to date.
- the type, category, situation and location match the actual purpose.
- the title and description contain no prohibited contact details.
- confidential and unnecessary personal data have been removed.
- third-party rights are respected.
- the specific reason for rejection has actually been resolved.
- no identical advert exists in parallel.
- the offer does not breach the platform rules or applicable law.
Save any important text and images you have created yourself outside the platform in case you might need them later.

Resubmit the advert for review
After making corrections, use ‘Publish’ or the function currently displayed to resubmit. The advert may then appear in the ‘Pending’ section.
Newly submitted or resubmitted adverts may be reviewed and subsequently approved or rejected again. There is no guaranteed processing time for this review.
Resubmission does not automatically activate the advert. Check its current status under ‘My Adverts’.

What should I do if my advert is rejected again?
If the advert is rejected again, compare the new notice with the changes you made. The reason may be unchanged or may concern another part of the advert.
Avoid:
- repeatedly resubmitting without correcting the content,
- submitting multiple slightly altered duplicates,
- concealing a prohibited offer,
- switching to an inappropriate category,
- sending insulting messages or messages that put pressure on support,
- submitting unnecessary sensitive documents.
Further guidance can be found in Rejected adverts / What should I do?

Contact support if the reason for rejection is unclear
If no clear reason is given, if a required correction is technically impossible, or if you wish to have the decision reviewed, please use the contact form.
Please provide the following where possible:
- the advert ID,
- the current status,
- the wording or a brief summary of the reason,
- what changes have already been made,
- which field cannot be edited,
- a redacted screenshot, where applicable.
Do not send passwords, one-time codes, complete activation or reset links, session cookies or unsolicited full identity documents.
Support can review the matter under the applicable rules. However, approval and a particular processing time cannot be guaranteed.
