On suchen.expert, you can delete the full message history of a selected conversation. This removes the entire conversation. You cannot delete an individual message or attachment separately.
How to delete the entire history
Follow these steps in order:
- Open the conversation whose full message history you want to delete.
- Click the three-dot icon in the top right-hand corner of the message window.
- Select ‘Delete history’.
- Then confirm your selection.
Before confirming, check once more that you have opened the correct conversation. The selected history is only permanently deleted once you confirm.
What is the difference between this and deleting an individual message?
The ‘Delete history’ function applies to the entire selected conversation. It is not possible to remove only a specific text message or attachment from it. If you only want to delete a message sent by mistake, there is no separate deletion function for this.

Check important details before deleting
Deletion cannot be undone. Review the history again before confirming. Pay particular attention to information you may still need for an ongoing arrangement:
- agreed appointments or collection times,
- details about the price, handover or scope of services,
- unanswered questions and agreements that have not yet been completed,
- information needed to submit a report to support.
Only save details that you genuinely need, and protect the other person’s personal data. Passwords, confirmation codes or full payment details should neither be sent in the message history nor stored elsewhere without protection.
Report suspicious or inappropriate content first
If the conversation contains a fraudulent, offensive or otherwise inappropriate message, do not rush to delete the history. The information it contains may be important for reviewing the incident. Therefore, first report the message using the designated process.

Can I restore a deleted history?
No. Once you confirm, the history is permanently deleted and cannot be restored. Therefore, only use this function if you genuinely no longer need the entire conversation.
